Siebel Technical Architecture Job
TA or Technical Architecture is one job scope in an Information Technology world. It is one of the most challenging job in IT fields. So what kind of job does TA do?
Well, I find it out when I, recently, got a new job assigned to me in the company where I currently work for. The new job will make me fully responsible for TA (Technical Architechture) daily job as well as my old configurator cum fixer job scope in Siebel point of view.
TA or Technical Architechture in Siebel term is a job that requires you to make sure the Siebel application run smoothly without any interuption. This requires the knowledge of how Siebel Structure works i.e how many Siebel application servers does Siebel have, what component does Siebel run i.e. EAI component, EIM etc. If load balancing is set up, make sure it is set up correctly to load the requests in timely manner.
The most difficult part of TA job is that you have to make sure you understand clearly how the end to end work. If you miss just one steps, your whole application may simply goes haywire. Hence, follow the correct steps in setup things is a must.
In short, TA takes care of the whole application structure that make sure everythings run!
To me, TA is not an easy task or fun job to take care of. This is because once the server is down, the first person to blame is TA (Technical Architechture guy). Can you imagine if the server is down for an hour and that application is supposed to serve more than 200 users and more than 1000 customers?? I leave it with you to imagine ![]()
