violent hail storm hits Canberra
A very violent hail storm hits cnberra as of February 27th Night time. More information can be read from hail storms
Due to the hail storm, my school has suspended all class on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The most hit error is int the ACT area. Ceiling of WestPac, for example collapsed down while there are many ice stone on the ground.
I managed to capture some photo of the ice stones.
1- On my way to school (ANU) this morning, I saw many ice fields, on the road side, on the resident’s roof top and on the ground.

2- The ice stone as big as 1 Singapore dollar coin or 2 Australian dollar coin as shown in this picture.

3- Finally, at the school, there was a massive ice block almost every where. For instance, this tractor did a good job to remove all the ice block from one of the hall there, (Melville hall)

It is also noted that, the hail storm is the worse in almost 100 years. What a great experience for me to experience such thing during summer!! ![]()
