ANU Medical Service: Clinic

I’ve just called to ANU’s clinic @ 53598 to seek appointment with doctor as I am not feeling that well at the moment. After about one minute, a lday’s voice response kindly and said:
"We are fully booked at the moment, if you want I can put you on the Monday's list".

Well, I was like “Oh ya?, Monday eh?”. “It’s Wednesday now that I am not feeling well NOT NEXT monday”.

So, after all, ANU Clinical service is just….

@deth, yep I was not feeling well few days a go. Too many things just happen at a single time. I’m doing fine now and preparing for my last 3 papers before heading home :D,
@duongchang: hahah, I guess i better just keep in mind that I can’t fall sick here in Australia. Otherwise there will be no doctor available to fix me lolz :p

No dude, not at all. I save every single day here and there and wait for the big summer holiday. July and August 2008, I will be in Cambodia for at least 5 weeks :D

Oh, yes, ANU medical service in particular, and in Australia in general, is not as urgent as it should be… I experienced when two of my friends got an emergency, but they have to wait and wait, like from morning till night (one got injury similar to leg broken; another like a serious fever). It was really terrible, no need to mention about patients, but just whom who accompany them like myself…… Australia need to put more and more responsive concern on health system. Otherwise, like your case, and countless more, waiting to die, or get your sick recovered by itself, until you are called to have it checked! Poor Australian health system!!!!!
